Internet Industry plays an important role in protecting children from online abuse and exploitation. Nowadays there are a few internet service providers (ISPs) in Cambodia who take this into account and join others to protect children. The lack of participation from the ISPs make it difficult for other stakeholders to make internet a safer environment for users especially for children and youths. To bring the ISPs on board, APLE had organized a number of workshops and meetings with them. Actually on the 5th of December 2016, Internet Hotline of APLE Cambodia in collaboration with International Child Redress Project (ICRP) organized an Expert Roundtable Discussion: “Online Child Safety and The Importance of ISPs’ Participation to Child Protection.”
Special thanks to Digi, Ezecom, Metfone, Camitel and Seatel who joint the event and are highly committed to child protection.
